David Flores Introduction
Hi my name is David.
I like to make a lot of fun things this is a 3d printed Kid Flash mask I made this summer. This is also the start of my senior year here at CSUP I'm a BFA student and I’m planning on getting a master's degree in the future. So while being an art major I like to create lots of things and things I've never done before just for the fun of it. Here is one of my favorite pieces of artwork I found on Twitter this summer, by the artist Chien Chih Kang or Justin96636, it's called Dragon ball ukiyo-e style 2022.
The reason I really like this piece of art is that it's drawn in a traditional Japanese style of art; called ukiyo-e style meaning "pictures of the floating world" which seems so interesting. As I really like Japanese culture and their style of art. The other reason I enjoy this artwork is it depicts a fight between two of my favorite characters from an anime called Dragon Ball Z. Broly and Goku, seeing them in this traditional style of art really reimagines what Akira Toriyama's art could have looked like or could show how he learned to draw the way he did. Although that is just an idea of how his manga could have been developed. In all, I think this is a great piece of art because of the style, the poses of the characters, as well as the story being shown.

I think this such an awesome piece of art. I love fan art for my shows I watch as well. I like that you so much of this piece and were able to share the style of this artwork. I liked learning what this style meant and being able to identify this style in the future. Maybe use it for inspiration for my future work or maybe to experiment with this style.
